In a study conducted in 2005, by Yankelovich, Inc. revealed that over 70 percent of consumers were actively looking for a way to eliminate advertising all-together. If so many people hate advertising why do businesses still use it? Advertising is how ideas spread, it used to be by word of mouth but this changed when the printing press was invented which is when propaganda began spreading. The idea of getting messages across to a mass audience is not a new concept, however Utah advertising agencies have used this digital marketing system to not only inform audiences but also entertain them while portraying a message.

When you watch an ad that you find boring or inapplicable to your life you may get frustrated or annoyed and not finish reading or watching the advertisement. However, if you watch an ad that you can relate to or that peaks your interest or looks like a product you might be interested suddenly you are all ears.

This is how advertising agencies get you, they create ads that might not be related to the product they are selling at all but are humorous or interesting so they gain greater audiences. For example, the Super Bowl ads are advertisements that are extremely popular; some people watch the game just to see the ads. Often these ads don't make logical sense or don't apply to the product or the company that is selling the product but audiences love them because they are humorous. People will remember the product by the funny video they watched during the commercial break.

Utah advertising agencies have done a great job in adapting to change and still drawing audiences even with the changing status quo. Consumers may not want to watch advertisements on their TV anymore but these companies do a great job in attracting a large audience and persuading people to by the product by means of technology.
